Comments text fading when clicking outside the comment

For a few days I have been getting used to Acrobat DC and getting on well.

Today I have a minor issue, which only appeared recently.

Whenever I compile a comment the text appears in the correct colour (blue for example).  When i click outside the comment box, to add another, the text in the comment box fades to abut 50% of the original colour.

I can't fathom out why it's done this.  Maybe I've pressed a key by accident whilst commenting but can't for the life of me, remember what one!

I'ce checked the opacity of comments in preferences and it's set to 100%.

I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat DC to no avail.

Any help would be appreacited as it's annoying me now 🙂

Thanks

I'm also having the same issue and, despite many minutes of trying, can't figure it out.

Oddly, if you 'Edit PDF' and add text that's fine, but I need to use the other annotation tools in 'Commenting' so this workaround isn't suitable.

Any genius out there that can help?? 🙂

Thank you
