Convert handwriting to typed text

I would like to know if it is possible to convert handwriting (as in old letters) into typed text.

Yes, re-type the text in InDesign or Word.

Hi, as there are a lot of them, some many pages long, I was hoping to not have to retype them all.

It is not possible with Adobe Acrobat.

Hi BW,

No, none of the Adobe applications will convert handwriting to typed text. You might want to hire an intern or high school student if there are hundreds, but make sure you have it worked out first.

• I would use Redaction to remove the handwriting. Set the color to be transparent, not black, and Cmd+Drag to select the signature. (Ctrl+Drag on Windows)
• First check with the Edit tool and see if the signatures are images that can simply be deleted.
• Use the Edit tool to retype the names.

My Galaxy Notes well convert handwriting into typed text when using the stylus, but I don't know if it can work on imported images.
