Hi,

I rn into an issue where I couldn't convert word or any office document to pdf with my pro 2020(licensed and activated). It gives me error saying 'please check you have read permission for the file'. I tried saving the ffile in different location and also creating a test file but no luck. I have actually two different versions to test but it's not working. Any recommendation is appreciated!

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to create the PDF from MS Word and getting the error 'please check you have read permission for the file'

Would you mind sharing the workfow/steps you are doing to create the PDF from Word? Please try to create the PDF from the Acrobat Ribbon present in the MS Word toolbar at the top and see if that works.

- Are you on Mac or Windows machine and what is the version of the OS?

- Are you on office machine/network? Please try to switch to a personal machine/network and see if that works.

You may also look at the correct answer marked in a similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/cannot-create-pdf-from-word-file-after-win10-1809-upgrade/m-p... and see if that helps.

Amal
