Copying image using selection tool causes other programs to freeze

I use the latest and Acrobat DC and Photoshop 2021 on Macbook Pro M1, when I copied an image from pdf using selection tool in Acrobat, Photoshop freezed instantly, then I copied some texts in Acrobat to flush the clipboard, and Photoshop worked again. I also tried copying image to Microsoft PowerPoint, and it caused PowerPoint to freeze too.

In the meanwhile, saving the image to disk works fine. The saved image can be opened in both Photoshop and PowerPoint. Copying image from Finder also works fine.

Hi Chriostopher

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are experiencing some issue while using Acrobat DC on Mac Mini, chip M1, Big Sur 11.2

Adobe is actively working to build apps that run natively on Apple computers using the Apple silicon M1 chip. Many of our existing apps can run on M1 devices using Apple's Rosetta 2 technology. For more information please check out the help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/apple-silicon-m1-chip.html
