Hi,
I use the measure & comment tool a lot but would like to be able to have 1 PDF that has the option to switch views showing different sets of measures/comments.
I have attached an example of 2 different sets of measures of the same PDF. What I need is to be able to quickly switch between the different set of measures.
Are these layers?
Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of ways to do it. One way is to filter the comments in order to switch between "views".
You can use the Author property to do that, since it's one of the built-in parameters that can be used for filtering in the Comments List panel. So if you set the comments from the first view to have an author called "View 1" and the second set of comments to "View 2" then those two options will appear when you click the Filter Comments button and then select Reviewer.
Another option is to use a custom-made script to do it. That will allow you to add a button to your actual file which will display a pop-up menu with the list of views for the user to select. Doing it like that is more complicated but will allow greater flexibility as you could, for example, display multiple views at once, which the first option I described does not allow.
If you're interested in the latter option I could develop it for you, for a fee. You can contact me privately via [try6767 at gmail.com] to discuss it further.

Hi James
You can try something like this but I do not know if this is the best tool for your intent.

Please let us know if this is good or bad,

Thanks Gary,
I don't think this is the solution. This seems to let you use layers already in the PDF created by a third party programme such as AutoCad.
All the best,
James
