I have CS6 version of Acobat. Unfortunately it regularly stopps working. If it happens I used to delete and reinstall the program. I did it few days ago. Acrobat was installed but it does not work. The message says: Adobe Acrobat stopped working.

What do I need to do?

If it is Acrobat X, it is long out of support and not expected to work on current systems. It has unfixed security bugs so it should not be used. If you understand the risk and what to try one thing before giving up, use the 10.1.16 patch. https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/10/10.1.16.html

If it is Acrobat XI, ditto, but use 11.0.23 https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/11/11.0.23.html
