Date fields are connected - how to create independent date fields using Acrobat Pro

New Here ,

Good Afternoon,

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v 2019.021.20056 to create a fillable .pdf form. I have separate date fields throughout the form that need to be independent of one another but once a date is entered in one field, all date fields populate that date. The same with the field name and tooltip - it copies any changes to all the date fields. How can I edit each date field to be able to display an independent date and it's own title/tooltip?

Thank you in advance!

Give each date field a different name. Then they will be separate fields with separate values and properties.

You'll find an old video on Acrobat form fields here:

While the user interface for adding fields has changed, everything else about fields, including the popup property dilaog is exactly the same. This video explains exactly what it is you need to know.
