date format error in pdf form

hi!!

i need help with the date format on a pdf form i'm been working on.

i created a pdf form with date format fields and i selected the dd/mmm/yyyy for display the date.

i´m working in spanish and i have a problem when de final user enter manually a date, example: 11/mayo/1949, the date format does not apply correctly and display this:

with every other month date format applies correctly (three letters) just for this month it display the entire name.

is there i way to correct this?
