Different character styles within same font?

Hey there,
I am setting up an editable PDF for a client to edit with ease and send off to a printer. The brand's typeface has 3 different letter A styles, however, the one Acrobat use by default, is the wrong one. I just cannot find anywhere where I can see the other types (i.e. Glyphs panel in Illustrator) and it's seriously hindering my workflow.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.
I need the pointy A, vs the round A that Acrobat sets as default

Sorry, you cannot specifiy which glyphs to use. Acrobat does not have a glyphs panel. I have seen fonts like that however, where the lowercase letter a is round an the uppercase A has a pointy top. Perhaps try typing in all caps to see if that will give you the letter shape you're after.

Yes, you can choose a font for fillable form fields, from the form field properties.
Yes, you can set a font using the editor for regular text.

This is not the issue.
