I would say to uninstall and run the Acrobat Cleaner and Repair tool.

 

Upon reinstalling I would not use the CC Desktop app to install Acrobat. I would download the Acrobat installer directly from your subscribed Acrobat account plan separately from the creative cloud bundle.

 

Also, have you checked with Adobe Customer Care what they have to say about this issue?
