Digital Signatures getting disappeared

Hi,

I was doing digital signatures using Adobe Acrobat X on document of 354 pages on which I have completed around 140 signatures. At one stage, I saw few digital signatures have got disappeared in the file. The arrows turns into finger when I move it on the signature slot from which I understand that the signature is still there but the same is not visible. Also, nothing comes when I click on the same. Please help resolving this issue.

Why so many signatures?

There is an error somewhere. Perhaps you are signing each page? You must not do this. Digital Signatures, practically and legally, always apply to the whole file. Just because you are converting g a paper workflow with signatures on each page... this is impossible. Maybe you need to stamp each page, then sign once.
