Hi,

Question at 50000$, you can get rich ! :

Is it possible to deactive definitely this print option :

"Choose the paper source according to the PDF page format" which appears in the print settings window when editing a pdf ?

when this option is unchecked, the pdf documents are printed correctly while if it is checked, there is a white margin that is displayed.

Thanks for your request 🙂

There seems to have a festive atmosphere in this forum ... In agreement with Gary_sc, this is a mutual aid forum. This is the first time that I post a request.

Indeed, it is not "Request" I meant, but "Answers". SORRY, I took the wrong term.

My request is a bit special and that is why I'm addressing to you without any aggressivity.

You probably meant thanks for your response, not your request.

You're the one requesting a non-sense answer though.

Maybe you have the answer already, or maybe not.

But the fact, and how ,you've described the way you're using that print setting, just shows that you don't know what is it used for.

I don't want to sound more rude than what i already have but you don't even seem to know what you're asking.

@Is_rbls,

Rather than being rude, could you explain/teach? Many might benefit.

Yes Gary, you're absolutely right. Thank you .

Seems like today I woke up very grumpy and very  judgemental .  I apologize.

Great. These days it's all to easy to have "bad" days.

Hopefully soon, after your coffee, you can explain

(I obviously, also do not know the answer ;>))

So to get back to the basic topic, I have a document in A3 size that I want to edit in A4.

By modifying the print settings so that it comes out in A4, I have an offset to the left of the edit and it shows a white margin on the right side of the sheet.

By unchecking the famous box "Choose the paper source according to the PDF page format", I manage to edit correctly an A3 to A4 document.

If this method is not the right one, I am greedy for knowledge and will be extremely happy to know another more academic solution 🙂

Have good day
