Is there a way to temporarily disable links in between the document while I'm editing? I work a lot with electric schemes and sometimes I have to edit. Whenever I want to draw a textbox or line near a linked area, clicking triggers the link instead of drawing the box and I keep jumping to other pages.

Hi,
Can you confirm the version of your software and operating system?
I usually end up inserting items like you describe somewhere else on the page, where it is 'safe' and move into place.
I don't think there is a feature like you describe.
Feel free to add it to the wish list https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Currently I'm using Windows 10 and the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.
I'm also using that "workaround" but it's pretty annoying.
I'll add it to the wish list.
Thank you for your help!

When you're in edit mode the links should not be active.

They aren't as long as you don't select a tool. Once I select the "Draw line" tool for example the cursor switches to the "Hand" symbol when I get close to the linked area and jumps to the linked object when I click.
