Hi, Hopefully I have a simple process question.
I have a brand new 4 page form I made in Adobe Pro X.
The form works perfectly in Pro X.
When I run "Distrubute Form" and then open it up with Adobe Reader, all of the Text Box Labels that I used show up as live Comments that the reader can select and move around the screen.
How do I keep my Text Box Labels from becoming Comments?
The typewriter tool adds comments to the documents. Use form text fields for the labels and set the fields as read-only.

How have you added the labels.

Content, Edit Text & Objects, Add or Edit Text Box
It comes up with a typewrite tool that creates a text label.

I used this method for creating the text labels.
Is there a step needed to flatten the text before Distribution?

OK, Thanks. That seems like it will work.
Is what you proposed a work around or is this the "proper" way?
Is there also a way to flatten the Typewriter Text Edits before publishing the Form?

When you flatten the document it will also remove the form fields.

Create the form design in Word or InDesign, export it as PDF, and add the form fields with Adobe Acrobat.
