Edit error: An error occurred in the Paper Capture recognition service

Please help:
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC during editing task: An error occurred in the Paper Capture recognition service.
Acrobat-e - Access point not found.
The procedure entry point cannot be found in a DLL.
Update-will not be good, uninstall + re-establish-not good.
What can be done?

If you are receiving a different error or an issue when using the editing feature, could you please share the screenshot of the error message? Share the steps you do that result in the error.

Also, share the Acrobat Pro DC and OS version used on the machine.
