Hopefully someone can assist - if we email a PDF from Acrobat Pro by clicking the envelope button - all works fine - except that this process completly locks up outlook and you cannot do anything else in outlook untill you send that created email or close the email window - this has just recently happened - prior to this we could create PDF and then attach to email - then cut and copy the file from the email and paste it into an existing outlook email we were replying to - We have rebuilt both outlook and Adobe but still happens - other people in the office with the same versions are still able to do the cut and paste attachement but one computer will not - so its something in the settings.  I would appreciate any assistance you can provide

Hi Samj

We are sorry for the trouble. As described, email from Acrobat DC Pro locks the Outlook.

Would you mind sharing the version of the OS?  Please check for any missing /pending updates for the OS and try updating them and see if that works for you. Also, try updatingthe outlook to the latest version.

If it still doesn't work, please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

You may also refer to the steps provided in the help article  https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/outlook-acrobat-reader-freeze-crash.html and see if that works for you.

Keep us posted with the results.

Regards

Amal
