I am receiving Error 1636 trying to update Acrobat PRo 2017 of a Mac Pr0 (2010) running OS X 10.13.8.

In addition to the "kglad" response.

Check the existing version of Acrobat you are working on. Open Acrobat>About Acrobat find the dot version. You can refer to the release notes and check the update you are missing and needed to be installed.
