error code 159:41 "Internet connection not detected"

I am installing Adobe Acrobat 8.1 and have a valid serial number but have an elicense issue. It's asking for elicense but won't let me reach the server.

Says internet connection not detected and then error code 159:41. Please help!

Licensing and activation is now switched off. Retail licenses have replacement software And serial number. Volume licensing? Too late, I imagine.

If you still have an issue with the installation of the Adobe Acrobat 8, please refer this help document: Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8
