Error Embedding Index When Converting Outlook Email to PDF

I am running Outlook 2016 with Acrobat DC on a Dell XPS-15 with Windows 10.

More and more, I have recently received error messages when converting batches of emails in Outlook into a PDF. I looked on the Acrobat forum, and this issue - in one form or another - seems to have plagued Acrobat users for over half a decade ... since at least 2010, and all the way back to Windows 8 and Acrobat 9. I can't find a satisfactory answer anywhere, and no one seems to have solved it. This is not fringe software I'm using. I am running mainstream hardware and software, and would appreciate an actual fix. Not an absurd workaround. A fix. I'm trying to run a law firm, and I don't have a lot of time to dink around with an issue like this. It's causing real problems.

Please help.

Tom

Details matter. What error messages exactly?

Hi Tom,

Try to repair Acrobat Installation which required a reboot, if things doesn’t get resolved after reboot - answer following queries to figure it out what’s wrong with your Adobe Add-In.

Acrobat DC – I hope your Acrobat DC is updated, if not sure, goto Acrobat > Help > About Acrobat Pro DC, share Version no.

Outlook 2016 – Is it Office365? Pro or Standard? 32bit/64bit? If not sure, goto File > Office Account > About Outlook – send us screenshot.

Outlook 2016 – Can you send us screenshot of your Change Conversion Settings?

Converting batches of email – How many emails are in batches? How do you select them or you are converting whole folders?

Any other Add-Ins installed in Outlook? If not sure, goto File > Options > Add-Ins, provide a screenshot of Add-Ins dialog.
