I keep getting the following error message: 

There was an error opening this document. The file is already open or in use by another application. None of the topics below fits this issue.

1- Do you receive this message upon viewing a specific PDF file? Check with a different file.

2- Is that document is saved on your computer or available on web or an email attachment? You may first save the file in your system and then try to open it using desktop application
