Hello,
we are a company what works with Adobe Acrobart XI standard and we have a problem ...
We works too with QuarkXpress, and our problem is this:
We add files in pdf format to QuarkXpress and we export one final file to Adobe Acrobat pdf and sometimes this file have errors with numbers.
Numbers are changed and characters are one above the others.
can anybody help me please?
Thanks.
Are the fonts embedded in the pdf file(s) being placed into Quark?

So, you use the built in export from XPress? You can check if the PDF is at fault by viewing in several different vendor's viewers (e.g. Mac Preview, Chrome, Acrobat). If all show the problem, the PDF is faulty, and you need to take it up with Quark.

I think I must have explained myself poorly. When I say "what did Quark say" I meant "what did Quark's tech support say when you contacted them about this problem". I assume (you don't say) that you did the tests I suggested to confirm it is a QuarkXPress issue.

the pdf file is generated with Adobe Acrobat XI standard and hi's embedded in Quark. At screen looks good, but when exporting to PDF (with Adobe Acrobat ) changes the characters. However with a free tool ( pdf creator ) the result is correct ???

I suggest that the problem is in XPress. Acrobat does not read the XPress document, XPress does. So, what do Quark support say about the problem?

Thank you very much everyone.
Finaly it seems that we have found the problem. The issue is that the pdf is generated from Microsoft Word and printer options spcifications Adobe Acrobat embed all fonts . But any source is not embedded and is when the error occurs .
Thank you very much.
