Extract text only

I have photos of a book's pages compiled into a 65-page PDF. I only need the text- I have to save it as a .doc or .txt with only text and no images. I can't seem figure out the OCR tool at all, however, as I'm a complete novice. If anyone can help me out, that would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Hi.

Run the OCR tool in Acrobat, then export (Save As) the PDF as .doc, .txt, etc.

You can use Export PDF tool of Acrobat Directly. Follow these steps if you have Acrobat DC(or let us know the Acrobat version)

- Open PDF and go to Tools> Export PDF

- Select the option you want your PDF to convert in (Like Microsoft Word or More Formats-> Text()Plain for .txt)

- Click Export

Please feel free to ask anything you want.

Thanks.
