Hi All,

Am trying to converte a PDF file to an Excel Sheet and whenever i do so, the Arabic sentenses are written backwards .

I noticed that another case when converted in which the Arabic letters are separated and the words are reversed and the letters are separated.

With Regards

Hi Saif

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the Arabic text appears in backward/reversed direction when exporting the PDF to Excel.

- Does the Arabic text displays in correct direction in Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC application and displays in reversed direction in MS Excel?

- Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to export the PDF to Excel?

Also, please try the steps/suggestions provided in the article i  have found on Microsoft support page with more information about setting the direction (Right to Left) for Arabic language in MS Office applications: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/using-right-to-left-languages-in-office-17d8a34d-36d6-49a... and see if that helps.

Regards

Amal
