Fillable PDF Text box TEXT alignment

Hi, I am creating a fillable form and created Text Boxes, but when I type in them, the numbers are not aligned? I have selected "Centered" in teh alignment box, but it doesn't change. Help or suggestions would be much appreicated. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
