Filled in form appears blank on one specific computer and it can't save edits either

I have a user who prepared some PDF signed forms on one computer, but when he views it on another computer, the form fields come up empty. Uninstalling and reinstaling Acrobat (version 2021.001.20145) made no difference. Trying a different user profile also made no difference.

I tried to edit the form on the problem computer and re-save it. That triggers the following

"The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (105).

Clearly something is amiss on this particular computer and its edition of Acrobat.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the Acrobat's exact version. That one specific computer you are referring above is that a Mac or Windows?

If its a Mac, then had user opened the file in Preview first? If that is the case then PDF form must have got corrupted. Try the following steps and see if that helps-

1- Save a copy of the file. Rather than editing and saving the same file, try saving it with a different name.

2- A workaround suggested in this similar discussion has worked for multiple users. You must give a try with that too: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/the-document-could-not-be-saved-there-was-a-problem-reading-t...

Do let us know, if none of the solution worked.

Thanks,

Akanchha
