Font error in creating pdf file using distiller DC

New Here ,
Apr 24, 2018 Apr 24, 2018

I am using Acrobat Distiller DC for creating pdf files.

Recently, I used a new font in the FrameMaker files and generated the ps file successfully.

But error poped up when I used Distiller DC to convert the ps file to pdf file.

Error message:

ProductName: Distiller

Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: definefont; ErrorInfo: StemSnapH -- nostringval --

Stack:

Font

dict

ADCFAA+Bree-SH-Text-Regular

Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored

Warning: PostScript error. No pdf file produced.

But I have already installed the Bree font in my computer both in the C:\Windows\Fonts and C:\Program File(x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2015\Resource\Font

Please anyone knows how to solve the problem?

What the diagnostic message indicates is that Distiller is finding a problem in the definition of the Bree-SH-Text-Regular font. StemSnapH is a hinting parameter within a glyph definition.

So the font definition is not correct, is it?

Do you have any suggestions? What can I do?

Where did you license the font from? There is a Bree font available from Adobe Typekit; is that where you licensed it from? If so, advise and we will check it out if you can post a sample FrameMaker file using the font such that we can check what's going on.

Otherwise, you need to go to whoever licensed the font to you and see if they have an updated version.
