Forms Change Appearance in Adobe Reader vs. Adobe Pro

Hello,

 

My apologies if the answer is posted elseware, I could not find an answer on this and have gone through all the view options. I'm curious why Adobe Reader by default has forms show up as shown in the left of the attachment, while the same form opened up in Adobe Pro has it show up as shown on the right. I recognize that we can designate borders and backgrounds manually in the Pro version, but didn't know if there was a view setting I was missing that made Reader show up on the left differently then Pro on the right. The end goal is I'd like Pro to show up as Reader does.
