Has Adobe Issued a "Suicidé Command" to Kill Older Acrobat/Reader Applications pre-v10.1.16?!?!?

It can't just be a coincidence but we suddenly had ALL Acrobat/Reader applications (pre-10.1.16) running on Macs just start crashing after the weekend (Jan 13, 2019. Over the course of the past two days, it has been upwards of 50 computers and still counting.

Since the Adobe application server has been decommissioned, we were forced to manually update every version one step at a time till they were each up to v10.1.16 - painful!!! Aaaaargh!

Has anyone else suffered the same fate? Can anyone at Adobe confirm that they intentionally (or maybe unintentially) 'killed' these older versions of their software?

Enquiring minds ...

We are having the same issue with Adobe Acrobat 11. The PDF application would close by itself after a few seconds after being open. To fix the issue, we have to upgrade to the latest version available for Adobe Acrobat 11 manally on all computers

Acrobat XI is not compatible with any current Mac OS version. You're unlikely to be able to use it at all.
It's also getting more and more incompatible with Windows 10, if that's what you have. Any update to the OS could cause issues with it.
