I just finished a long and tedious precious of highlighting a script in Reader and now need to write notation in the same .pdf in Acrobat.  However, when I open the script in Acrobat (or even just in Preview), all highlighting is gone.  Frickin' help!  Why isn't highlighting made in Reader able to be seen in Acrobat?

Hi Markw

We are sorry for the trouble. As described, the highlight are not showing in Acrobat?

We need some more information for a better understanding.

1. Please share the steps/workflow that you are doing to make the highlights in the PDF file using Reader

2. Are you highlighting the PDF on a different device using Reader? If yes, what is the version of the Acrobat Reader and the OS of the device you are using?

3. Are you able to view all the highlights when you open the PDF in Reader on the same device?

4. What are the steps you are doing to open the PDF on Acrobat? Is Acrobat installed on a different device? If yes, how are you moving the PDF between Reader and Acrobat?

5. Have you saved the PDF to Document Cloud after adding highlights?

7. Would you mind sharing the PDF with us so that we can check it at our end for testing. Please upload the file to the Document Cloud https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ generate the link and share it with us.

Regards

Amal
