Is there any way to highlight text using the I-beam pointer in Acrobat Reader DC so that you can copy texts (Control C) insert copied texts etc (control V) to use for search terms, websites/blogs, Youtube videos/video descriptions etc?

This should be possible with that tool, provided there's actual text in the file and not just an image.

If you can't select the text, it's because it's not real text.

Is there any way to tell the difference between actual text and text that's not real?

Yes. If you can't select it using the I-beam tool, it's not real text.

(There are other, more technical, ways, of course. If you share the file with us we could let you know for sure)

Yeah, there's no text in it. Using Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader) you could try running Text Recognition on it, which converts the images to "real" text.
