How do I make a Bank Statement download PDF a searchable pdf

Hi there,

When I download my credit card statement, it is immediately a searchable pdf document, which file explorer picks up in the search results.

However, my Bank Statements which I have downloaded do not.  They are a pdf but dont appear to be searchable.

I have Adobe Acrobat DC, but I dont know how to convert the bank statements to be searchable pdf's .

Any help would be gratefully received.

Your bank statements are probably image files. You can go to Tools> Enhance Scans> Recognize Text> Recognize Text (hit the button).

This might work, depending on the resolution of the image.
