After I import an existing pdf file I simply want to strike through some of the existing text. How can I do this?

How do you take off a strike through text?

If it's a comment, just select it with the mouse and press Delete. If it's a part of the static contents of the file it's much more difficult, but your best option would be the Edit Text & Images tool.

Ahh I got it now! Thank You! Can you now help me with how to use the eraser to white out writing on a document?

Again, what kind of writing is it? A comment or static contents? For static contents you need to use the Redaction tool.
