Hello,
I have invoices here that I'm trying to stamp. Typically when I stamp these, I have to put down the amount that we actually pay (total - discount).
The issue is that these invoices are for the full amount and do not take into consideration the 2% discount. This leads me having to go through hundreds of invoices and manually calculate the discounted total to record on the stamp. I've tried doing form calculations but have had no luck as Adobe does not recognize the total amounts as "Fields" so I cannot simply do a field calculation. Any ideas on how to do this faster? A simple script that can take a value on a page and automatically apply the discount to a different field?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Christian,
Would you be able to share an example of that PDF?
This may be achieved with some JavaScript or in combination with some of Acrobat's built-in features.

This can be done using a script, but it's not simple, since we're dealing with static text.
If the files all follow the same pattern then it should be possible, though, but will require the development of a custom-made script. If you're interested I could create it for you, for a fee. You can contact me privately via [try6767 at gmail.com] to discuss it further.
