How to generate a form with Data Matrix Code usable in Acrobat Reader

New Here ,

Id like to create a PDF form with Acrobat DC which can generate a data matrix code out of changeable form fields within a Acrobat Reader Application.

I understand, that by default, those barcodes will only work in Adobe Acrobat when filling in the data fields. To get the barcodes to work in the free Adobe Reader, the PDF must have reader extensions added to the document.

Reader Extensions are special permissions that turn on functionality in Adobe Reader.
But I can find neather a product called Reader Extensions nor how to get or assign or turn on
these special Reader Extension functionality while creating a form in Adobe DC.
Please help.

Download this sample PDF document: https://abracadabrapdf.net/file/RATP-position-geographique-des-stations.pdf

It displays the QRcode EVEN in Acrobat Reader.

You can do the same for a Datamatrix code, this requires a custom JavaScript developpement or long searches on the web.

(I can't do that for you, I'm not the author of this part of the script)
