In "Edit PDF" mode I can copy the contents of a bounding box. Then I go to the page where I want to paste to same contents and I select "Add Text", then I put the cursor at the desired entry point and then select "paste."  The contents of the bounding box are pasted on the new page at the desired location, but the spacing between lines is lost and the font changes.  Fixing that takes a lot of time. Is there a better way?

Yes, doing it elsewhere... Seriously, though, PDF files were not meant to be edited in such an extensive way and doing so will cause a lot of problems. If you have access to the original file used to create the PDF make the changes there and then create a new PDF file from it. If you don't, try exporting the PDF to an editable format (like Word or InDesign) and use that as the new source file.
