How to open acrobat reader if both acrobat reader and acrobat pro are installed

I cant manage to open acrobat reader if acrobat pro is installed, too. Even if i explicitly start acrobat reader, acrobat pro is opened instead. acrobat reader has the advantage that it opens pdf files much faster and you are probably less tracked by Adobe too than with Acrobat Pro. Thanks for any help.

I have had both Adobe Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC installed in parallel before and experience no problems.

 

However, some users have reported issues when having both programs installed in the same computer, and I've also read in some threads before Adobe employees not recommending to have both installed like that to prevent weird behaviors.

 

But again, at least in my case I've had both programs in MS Windows 7 Home Edition, and three different version updates of Windows 10 with no issues.
