How to retain images in PDF when exporting to Word?

Hi--I have a document in PDF that contains some images (jpegs and/or PNGs)--those were actually originally in a Word doc, that were retained when I exported it to PDF. I know have to "go back" to Word to do some editing that I can't do in the PDF, but when I export to Word, all the images become lines or black boxes. When I'm done with the text editing in Word, I'll resave it as PDF--but the images are gone!

Is there any way to keep the images (there are about 30 or so in a 200 page PDF guide) when exporting the directory from PDF to Word?

Thank you!

Hi,

Can you confirm the version of your software and operating system?

I am not sure if you still have access to the original files, but I would recommend you upadte the original Word doc instead of converting back and forth.
