Right-click it, select Properties and un-tick the Locked box.

Hi Zahmed,

As try67 mentioned above, you can simply unlock the sticky note from the Sticky note properties window.

To open the sticky note properties window.

- Select the sticky not and right-click on it. Or in the Comment tool pane at right, click on the three dots in the comment box for sticky note.

- Select "Properties" from the list of options provided.

- Clear the checkbox for Locked.

- Check the box for "Make properties default" (if all the sticky notes are locked)

Hope that helps.

Let us know if you experience any issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

The option to uncheck the  LOCKED option is not available. (Using Adobe Reader)

Hi @chandra_71113

Thanks for reaching out with your question.

This capability is only available with Acrobat Pro. Adobe Reader is a freeware app that allows users to fill in form details, view PDFs, sign PDFs, and more. However, to make any changes to a File or PDF form, you need Adobe Acrobat.

Let us know if you have more questions.

What do you see at the properties of the Sticky Note?

I see Author, subject, and modified at the top. The check mark for LOCKED at the bottom is checked with no-option to remove.
I was just making these edits 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately this is my work program and I have no authorization to buy a better version. The sticky edits were working about 2 weeks ago with no issues. I think I erroneously checked that on 1 PDF and have no been able to use since.

Sorry for the confusion. I thought you were Creating or Editing a Form.

What changed from last week? Is this the same machine? Have you signed out and signed in to the app(I'm not suggesting doing that)?

Are you the same author as it is visible on screenshot CIC? What happens with other files?

This is the same computer and system. The only thing that has changed is that I clicked "locked"  on a form I was working on and all new PDFs are locked.  I am able to use this function on previous forms I "edited" prior to this, but nothing newly saved.
