Hyphen problem when copy from pdf to txt file

Hi,

When copy the hard hyphen from the end of line in pdf, and paste it in notepad or word file, hard hyphens is missing in pasted document. How we can retain the hard hyphen from end of line in pdf to notepad or any text file.

This means the file was set up incorrectly. There's nothing you can do about it, short of re-creating it.

In which InDesign setting, it will be correct?. We are creating pdf from InDesign software with hard hyphen in end line

How are you adding the hard-hyphen? I would try asking about this in the InDesign forum...

We have the same problem creating a bookmark by selecting multiline text
