I am new to using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I currently use Foxit Phantom PDF to create and edit PDF files. Foxit has a feature where you can setup predefined text that can be selected from a drop down list and inserted into a document as needed (current date, name, other custom predefined text) from a drop down list. Does Adobe Acrobat Pro DC have the same feature?

I use it to add dates and account codes to receipts. Being able to do that in Foxit saves me time from typing in 10 digit account codes. I would like to be able to use Adobe the same way.

You can do it, to some extent, using the Add Header & Footer tool. A more advanced version can be done using a custom-made script.
