Install Adobe Acrobat Pro in New Computer

New Here ,
Feb 07, 2017 Feb 07, 2017

Hi,

I purchased adobe acrobat pro (desktop version) a few years ago and installed it in my old computer. I have changed to a new computer now. Does it mean I have to buy the application again? Or can I somehow install the application in the new computer?

Regards,

Audrey

Which version exactly? There are lots of non-DC versions:

  • XI
  • X
  • 9
  • 8
  • 7
  • etc

The link you sent seem to be for DC version only?

The link is for DC, XI and X. It also includes a link to a page for versions 8 and 9.

Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Which version? Which operating system?

Your new computer needs to run the same flavour operating system as your old one: if your old computer ran Windows, then your new one must too. Same if it's a Mac.

To re-install you'll need your serial number:

Find your serial number

Download from

Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Install then enter your serial number.

If you are no longer using Acrobat on your old computer then deactivate it via Help > Deactivate inside Acrobat.

Thanks. My version is Acrobat Pro (desktop) and not DC version. The link you sent seem to be for DC version only?

My operating system is Apple macOS Sierra (new computer) and OS X (old computer)
