I used to create interactive PDF forms with LiveCycle Designer -- for example, the form would open up a new duplicate field if they needed to add another item, or, based on an answer, it would display a different set of options.

Is there anything that can do that now?

Scripting in Acrobat Pro DC can do that.

We have some incredible ACP/MVPs on this forum who can write those script, and I expect they'll probably chime in soon.

Do you mean how to do that in an Acrobat form, or an LCD one? If the latter, it should be as before.

If the former, it's possible to some extent, but you can't "reflow" the rest of the page's contents like you can with an LCD form, unless all of those contents are also form fields. In other words, if you want to add new fields to a page then you need to have empty space on it for them to be added, or you could add entire pages with fields, using a Template object.
