Thanks for reporting the issue here.

Please use Multiple/Booklet options from Print Dialog under Page Sizing & Handling to print A4 size pages with a A3 sized print.

Please check the same in attached screenshot as well : Screenshot 2020-11-16 at 11.09.51 AM.png

Do you mean the pages are scanned in a booklet format? (ie. the cover and last page are on one page, then the second page and the one before last, etc.)? If so, you can use this (paid-for) tool I've created to do it:
