Issue with OS 10.12.6 and acrobat - gets caught in a loop

Hi.

How would I fix this issue?

 - Running OS 10.12.6

 - acrobat suddenly will not run

 - I uninstalled, then reinstalled from my subscription

 - still get this message when I try to run acrobat “please wait a few minutes whilst the update is installed” which it gets stuck on.

...any thoughts?
