link individual password protected pdfs with google drive links

I'm creating a virtual escape room.

I created each clue on powerpoint and then converted to pdf.

I've password protected each pdf.

I then uploaded clue 12 to google drive, shared it publicly and copied the link.

I then opened clue 11 on adobe pdf, and at the bottom i created a hyperlink on 'go to clue 12' with the link I copied above from google for slide 12.

I've worked my way backwards and it works perfectly on the laptop.

I've then downloaded the 'intro' page which has no password as I want to send that to everyone. It says begin and that works. Clue 1 opens.

At the bottom of clue 1, it says go to clue 2....this doesn't work. It just comes up with a white and grey pdf on my phone. 

Any ideas??
