links in pdfs not working on imessage

Hello, 

I am trying to create pdfs that can be sent via text message, primarily iMessage, that have linked image sections which are clickable in the message conversation. I am able to successfully add links in Acrobat Pro DC using the Add/Edit Web or Document link function. I add these links to different sections of the pdf using the selection tool. When saved, these links function on Gmail, (both on mobile and desktop), but do not function on iMessage. Is there some way I can format these links to work over iMessage?

You need to ask the developers of whatever PDF plugin is used in that application.
