Locked text boxes

I am using Acrobat XI Pro and when I am adding a text box, this is locked for editing by default. I need to change it first in order to edit it. Is there a way to unlock all text boxes by default and not have to change it one by one?

In Form Edit mode, right-click on an unlocked field and select "Use Current Properties as New Defaults".

I have tried that but it is only applied to that text box. When I click on another one it is not working.

It will be applied to any new field (of that type) you create from that moment on. It won't affect fields you already created.
