Hi, I can't get duplex printing to use the long edge binding. No matter what I select, it prints on the short edge. I have the portrait layout selected and I am using an HP printer on Mac OS. This only occurs in Adobe Reader, not other apps. How can I get long edge printing?

Just to know what you have tried:
- exchanged long/short edge binding (printer)
- checked "reverse page orientation" (printer)
- changed orientation to Auto (Acrobat)
- changed orientation to Landscape (Acrobat)
- changed page size to actual size /Acrobat)
- unchecked "Choose paper size..." (Acrobat)
Bold ones are those who I suspect having an influence.
Did you check the printer driver being the latest? Acrobat is known for being demanding and works best with the latest printer driver.

Could you please post a screenshot of your printer setting?

This image is the original print window. In order to get to 2 sided printing, I go to the blue Printer button on the bottom left...
And this is the dialog box that comes up after I selected 2 sided, long edge.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I found that checking "reverse page orientation" fixed the problem. I also tested the others and they didn't work. The printer is only 2 months old, so the driver is the most updated.

OK, you found a solution. I'm happy with that.
Do not trust automatic driver downloads. They may or may not be current current!
