Lose formatting when converting Word files to PDF

I'm trying to convert my resume from Word to PDF.  I have text boxes in the Word document that lose formatting in PDF, like the top line is missing on one or several of the boxes or the left side line of the boxes are missing.  Is there a way to lock in the formatting before converting so the PDF version doesn't chop off parts of my images?

Thanks,

Kim

Hi Kiberly,

Please let us know what your OS is (and what release)?

And EXACTLY which version of Acrobat you are using (and what release)

Lastly, please exactly tell us the steps you are using to create the PDF?

Thanks
