Lost Ability to Combine multiple PDFs into One PDF

I have AA 9 - Standard. For some unknown reason, I just lost the ability to highlight multiple PDFs, right click and select the Combine Feature to turn them all into one singular PDF. The options from online support have not helped. I'm hearing I may have to go to new online-subscription based usage. Anyone have a proper fix?

This is not surprising, as it's a very old version, not compatible with any current OS.

You should still be able to do it from within Acrobat, though.

But yes, getting a new version, whether subscription based or not, is probably the best solution.
